1957年8月27日愛媛県今治市出身
1996年 APF通信社に所属
2007年9月27日ビルマのヤンゴン市内で軍事政権に対する僧侶・市民の反政府デモを取材中、ビルマ軍兵士の故意による至近距離からの銃撃で死亡した(享年50)
