ABSDF議長 タン・ケー氏
1988年、ビルマの民主化を求め、非暴力運動を展開したビルマの学生たち。 彼らを待ち受けていたのは、ビルマ軍による無差別発砲でした。 犠牲者は1000人以上ともいわれています。
多くの仲間を失った学生たちは、隣国タイとの国境地帯へ避難し、「ABSDF（＝全ビルマ学生民主戦線）」を結成しました。その一部は武器を取り、現在もビルマ軍事政権打倒を叫び闘っ­ています。
2009年5月に来日したABSDF議長タン・ケー氏に、「ビルマでいま、何が起きているのか」「軍事政権が実施する総選挙は一体どんなものなのか」について話を聞きました。
聞き手は、山路徹（APF通信社代表）。通訳は、田辺寿夫氏。
