ABSDF議長 タン・ケー氏
1988年、ビルマの民主化を求め、非暴力運動を展開したビルマの学生たち。 彼らを待ち受けていたのは、ビルマ軍による無差別発砲でした。 犠牲者は1000人以上ともいわれています。
多くの仲間を失った学生たちは、隣国タイとの国境地帯へ避難し、「ABSDF（＝全ビルマ学生民主戦線）」を結成しました。その一部は武器を取り、現在もビルマ軍事政権打倒を叫び闘っ­ています。
2009年5月に来日したABSDF議長タン・ケー氏に、「ビルマでいま、何が起きているのか」「軍事政権が実施する総選挙は一体どんなものなのか」について話を聞きました。
聞き手は、山路徹（APF通信社代表）。通訳は、田辺寿夫氏。

I have an understanding of what you are saying, but you just appear to have forgotten about that you will find some other individuals within the world who view this matter for what it genuinely is and may perhaps not agree with you.
