悲劇の銃撃事件から3年……追悼展示＆トークショー開催
ミャンマーで殉職した長井健司さんの追悼イベント開催　
話題のジャーナリストも続々登場
　2007年9月27日、ミャンマーでの反政府デモを取材中に、軍の兵士に銃撃されて亡くなった長井健司さん。銃弾に倒れてもなお、取材中のビデオカメラを握り締めていた壮絶な映像は、今でも多くの人の記憶の中にあることだろう。あれから3年がたった今でも、事件の真相は明らかにされず、ビデオカメラも返却されていない――。

　その長井さんを追悼し、事件を風化させず、また命に代えてでも果たせなければならなかったジャーナリズムの意義を再確認してもらうべく、長井さんが所属していた独立系ニュース通信社・APF通信社が、「追悼・長井健司記者　映像・遺品展＆トークショー」を10月1～3日に開催する。長井さんが遺した取材映像や遺品などを展示する予定だ。また、最終日の3日には戦場ジャーナリストの渡部陽一氏のトークショーも行われる。
　同イベントに関して、APF通信社は「『誰も行かないところに、誰かが行かねばならない』が口癖だった長井記者。その徹底した現場主義に基づく取材は、世の中に多くの真実を伝え、時に多くの命を救ってきました。本展を通して、『長井記者が伝えたかったこと』をもう一 度振り返り、『報道の使命とは何か』を社会全体に問い直す機会となることを願っています」とコメント。
　これに先駆け、命日である9月27日には、先日までアフガニスタンで拘束されていたジャーナリストの常岡浩介さんと、2004年にイラク戦争取材中に拘束された経験を持つフォトジャーナリストの郡山総一郎さんを迎えてのトークショーが行われる。テーマは「報道の使命とは ～長井健司記者が伝えかったこと～」。
　長井さん同様、命がけで最前線で取材する男たちの生の声を聞く、貴重な機会となるだろう。

    There are some interesting points on this article but I don’t know if I see all of them heart to heart. There may be some validity however I will take hold an opinion until I look into it further. Good article , thanks and we want more! Added to FeedBurner as well.

    Have seen and heard about such an insect for the first time. I really like knowing about various types of insects and animals. The life cycle of the insect shared in here seems to be very interesting. Will look forward to more such interesting posts.
