【報道各位】ﾛｲﾀｰ配信長井記者の遺品写真

　ロイター通信が２６日、DVB（ビルマ民主の声）より提供を受けて配信した、２００７年９月２７日にビルマ・ヤンゴンの軍事政権に反対するデモの取材中に射殺された長井健司記者の所持品の写真について、下の通りお知らせします。
　当該写真に写っているビデオカメラ（写真右上・キヤノン製）は在ビルマ日本大使館を通じて、すでにご遺族に返還されたビデオカメラです。
　一部報道では、当該写真に写っているビデオカメラは長井さんが撃たれた際に最後まで握り締めていたビデオカメラで、日本政府が現在返還を求めているビデオカメラとみられる、とありますが、これは誤りです。
　当該写真に、長井さんが撃たれた際に最後まで握り締めていたビデオカメラ（ソニー製）は写っていません。
　ご遺族と弊社は引き続き、ビルマ軍事政権に対し、長井さんが最後まで握り締めていたビデオカメラの返還を求めてまいります。
