【取材記】ﾋﾞﾙﾏ政治囚と長井健司写真展

「ジャーナリストを含むビルマ政治囚の即時解放を求めて～
緊急報告会と記者会見」在日ビルマ人らが議員会館で開催

在日ビルマ人と超党派の「ミャンマーの民主化を支援する議員連盟」は衆議院第２議員会館で
今月10日、ビルマの実情や政治囚の置かれている状況について、日本の国会議員に理解を
深めてもらおうと、ビルマ国内で政治囚として捕らわれているビルマ人ジャーナリストらが撮影した
写真などを展示する報告会を行った

また、ビルマのヤンゴンで2007年9月27日に市民や僧侶らのデモ行進を取材中、ビルマ軍兵士の
凶弾によって命を奪われた長井健司記者が、生前に世界の紛争地で撮影した子供たちの写真なども
展示された

長井記者殺害事件から2年近く、さまざまな国際社会の批判を受けながらも、ビルマ軍事政権は
政府に反対する国民を逮捕・拘束するという強硬姿勢を続け、今も、市民やジャーナリストら
2,100人以上の政治囚がビルマ各地の強制収容所に捕らわれている
ノーベル平和賞受賞者のアウンサン・スー・チー氏においては、5月下旬、6年間にわたる
自宅軟禁の期限が切れるとみられていたが、米国人男性が同氏の自宅に侵入したことが
きっかけとなり、新たに最大5年の拘束刑をされようとしている

The next time I read a weblog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my option to learn, however I actually thought youd have one thing fascinating to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you can fix when you werent too busy on the lookout for attention.
