ジャーナリスト長井さん記念賞創設記者ら表彰
昨年９月、ミャンマーで反政府デモを取材中に射殺された映像ジャーナリスト長井健司さん（当時５０歳）の精神を受け継ごうと、同国の報道の自由や民主化に貢献した記者やカメラマンに贈られる「長井健司記念賞」が創設されることになった。（奥村登）
　ミャンマーの報道、表現の自由を守るジャーナリストらの協会「ＢＭＡ」（本部・ノルウェー）が、一周忌直後の今年１０月、長井さんが勤務していたＡＰＦ通信社（港区）に協力を要請、長井さんの両親（愛媛県今治市）の快諾を得て実現した。
　長井さんは中野区に住んでいた。ＡＰＦ通信社には、今も長井さんの机が残され、ホワイトボードに「ずっとロケ」と書かれたままだ。
　長井さんは銃弾に倒れてもビデオカメラを手放さず、その様子は映像や写真で世界に配信された。協会によると、長井さんはミャンマーのジャーナリストにとって、真のジャーナリスト精神を示したヒーローのような存在で、名前を冠した賞を設けることにしたという。
　協会の選考委員会は、第１回受賞者として、今年５月に同国を襲ったサイクロンによる多数の被災者を撮影して甚大な被害を国内外に知らせたミャンマー人の２０歳代女性ジャーナリストを選出した。授賞式は来年２月にタイ国内で行われる予定で、ＡＰＦ通信社の関係者がクリスタルの盾と賞金１０００ドルを贈呈する。
　ＡＰＦ通信社の山路徹社長の話「長井さんは凶弾に倒れる直前、『地を這(は)うような取材をしたい』と話していたという。賞は現場で命がけの取材をしている人に授けてほしい。長井さんも創設を喜んでいると思う」

You lost me, buddy. I mean, I assume I get what youre expressing. I understand what you’re saying, but you just seem to have forgotten about that there are some other folks inside the world who look at this matter for what it genuinely is and may perhaps not agree with you. You might be turning away alot of individuals who may have been fans of your web log.
