村尾信尚キャスターの“ミャンマー報告”第３弾は、
タイ側の国境の町、メソトにある病院「メータオクリニック」を取材しました。
病院を開設した女性医師は、20年前にミャンマーから逃れてきた難民でした。
彼女は、軍事政権の弾圧からタイに逃れたミャンマー人のために
“無償”で医療を提供し続けています。
さらに、現在ミャンマーに住む人々も、この病院を求めて国境を越え、来院しています。
そこには、ミャンマー医療の厳しい現実がありました。
