きょう、今年5月にミャンマーを襲った大型サイクロン「ナルギス」の被災者を支援するための
チャリティーコンサートが星陵会館（永田町）で開かれた
出演者は、歌手・沢知恵さんとクリエーター・いとうせいこうさん
沢さんは、ピアノの弾き語りでアウンサンスーチーさんに献げる曲などを歌った
コンサートの前には、ミャンマーの現状を伝える写真や映像が上映され、
根本敬さん（上智大学教授）は、「映像ジャーナリスト長井健司さんを射殺した
軍事政権の対応の遅れが被災状況を悪化させた」と解説した
主催は、「ビルマ市民フォーラム」
収益金は、現地で活動する支援団体「EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE TEAM – BURMA」に
直接送られる
また会場では、長井健司さん殺害に抗議するための署名活動も行われた
