2008年度新聞協会賞授賞式 フジテレビのミャンマー情勢取材班に記念メダルなど授与
2007年9月、フリージャーナリストの長井健司さんが、ミャンマーで銃撃された瞬間をとらえたフジテレビのスクープ映像が、2008年度の新聞協会賞を受賞し、15日に北海道・札幌市で授賞式が行われた。
新聞協会は、「この映像は、長井さんの銃撃が故意に行われた事実を立証し、ミャンマー政府の虚偽と残虐性を暴いた」と論評し、「各国政府の対応と報道の流れを一変させた国際的影響力を持つ価値ある報道」と高く評価した。
授賞式は、札幌市で開かれている第61回新聞大会の式典で行われ、フジテレビのミャンマー情勢取材班に、記念のメダルなどが授与された。
新聞協会賞は、優れた報道に贈られる日本のジャーナリズム界で最も権威のある賞で、フジテレビは3回目の受賞となる。

I’ve been in similar situations before. It is not as easy an answer as you thought it is, its something that you’ll have to write out for yourself over time.
