きょう8月27日は、長井さん51回目の誕生日です。
去年の誕生日のことが思い出されます。
深夜、会社でパソコンに向かっていた長井さんが突然、「わーッ！」と叫んだそうです。
突然の声に驚いたスタッフが、「長井さん、大丈夫ですか？！」と声をかけたところ、
長井さんは、「50になっちゃったよ！」と苦笑いしていたそうです。
時計を見ると、ちょうど零時をまわったところでした。
長井さんは、何歳になっても少年のようなところがあったの人なので、
50歳になったことが余程ショックだったのでしょう。
それから丁度一ヶ月後の9月27日に長井さんは亡くなりました。
もう歳をとることはなくなりましたが、もっともっと、一緒に歳を重ねたかったです。
そんな今日、日テレの汐留ジャンボリーで、長井さんカメラの返却を求める
署名が10万人に達しました。
長井さんには最大の誕生日プレゼントになったのではないでしょうか。
長井さんの照れ笑いが、目に浮かびます。
今日まで署名活動をしてくれた皆さんや、署名に協力して頂いた10万の人々には
感謝の気持ちで一杯です。
まもなく一周忌です。
