【取材記】ミャンマー・都内で8888デモ行進

「8888デモ」
ミャンマーで1988年8月8日、民主化を要求するデモに参加していた
市民1000人以上が治安部隊によって殺された

それから今日で20年・・
祖国の民主化を願う在日ミャンマー人らが都内でデモ行進を行った

デモの参加者は8888デモの犠牲者と同じおよそ1000人
これだけの数の国民が自国の警察や軍隊によって殺されたのだ

デモ隊は途中、品川のミャンマー大使館前でシュプレヒコールを叫んだ
固く閉ざされた門扉
世界各地で同様のデモや集会が開かれたと聞く
ミャンマー・ヤンゴンの様子が気になる・・
